Stop receiving SMS messages
If you're getting SMS messages from a business that uses Loopcall, you can stop them at any time using any of the three options below. Per the April 2025 FCC any-reasonable-means revocation rule, we honor every opt-out request — by SMS, by email, or via this page — within 10 business days, and usually within seconds for SMS replies.
Option 1 — Reply STOP (fastest, ~5 seconds)
Reply STOP to any message you've received from us. You can also use any of: STOP, STOPALL, CANCEL,END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or (Spanish): ALTO, BAJA, FUERA, CANCELAR.
Natural-language requests like "stop texting me" or "please remove me" also work. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further messages from that business through our service.
Option 2 — Email us
Send an email to support@loopcall.io with:
- Your phone number (so we can match it to the conversation)
- The name of the business you received messages from (optional but speeds things up)
- A note like "please opt me out" (no specific keyword required)
We'll confirm by reply within one business day and the opt-out is effective across all current and future messaging from that business through our service.
Option 3 — Use the contact form
If you don't have your phone handy or prefer a web form, fill out the contact form on our booking page and select "opt-out request" as the reason. Same effect as email above.
What happens after you opt out
- Within seconds for SMS-based STOP: your number is added to the per-business suppression list. No further messages will be sent.
- Within 1 business day for email or form-based opt-outs: we process your request manually and confirm by email.
- Within 10 business days is the legally binding maximum per the FCC's revocation rule. We aim to be much faster.
- Your number stays on the suppression list indefinitely — we cannot accidentally re-message you even if the business who originally messaged you re-uploads their contact list.
Important: this only stops Loopcall-routed messages
Opting out here stops the SMS that our service sends on behalf of the business you contacted. If the business has another way of reaching you (direct phone calls, email newsletters, postal mail, a different SMS vendor), that's outside our control — contact the business directly to stop those.
